 Hello Everyone,

 Now I am going to give a brief description of water 

Firstly we discuss:

  1.  what is water?
  2. what is hard water and soft water?

..WATER.

Water is an inorganic, transparent, tasteless, odourless, and colourless chemical substance. which is the main constituent of Earth's hydrosphere and the fluids of all known living organisms. Water is composed of the chemical elements hydrogen and oxygen and existing in gaseous, liquid, and solid states.

Notes. Water is the only liquid that is density in a solid.

Due to this, the ice is floating on water because is density 9%less than the water.

Water is categorised into two types. They are hard water and soft water. These two types are not differentiated based on their touch and feel or appearance

Hard water... is water that contains an appreciable quantity of dissolved minerals (like calcium and magnesium).

Soft water... is treated water in which the only ion is sodiumH2O

The formula of hard water is same as that of pure water or soft water. It is H2O. The difference is that hard water contains calcium and magnesium salts in it.
